1. Senator Ike Ekweremadu – $100 Million

Ike Ekweremadu  tops the list of Enugu State richest indigenes. He has occupied several top positions in the country as a politician. His date of birth is 12 May, 1962. He is a member of the People’s Democratic Party and was the Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate for three consecutive terms.

Additionally, he has a Bachelor and master’s degree in Law from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Ike Ekweremadu was called to Bar in 1987. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Law from the University of Abuja, Nigeria. The several appointments he held are; Chairman of Aninri Local Government Area and Chief of Staff to the Enugu State Government house.

2. Fidelis C. Okoro – $89 Million

Fidelis C. Okoro is a Nigerian Politician. He was the Senator of Enugu North District. He took his seat in the Senate in June 1999. Okoro was appointed to committees on Senate Services. He was also appointed in Industries, Police Affairs, Agriculture and Niger Delta.

Thereafter, he changed allegiance to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and became an ally of Governor Chimaroke Nnamani. Fidelis Okoro is also a successful businessman. He is one PDP founding fathers.

3. Senator Ayogu Eze – $70 Million

Senator Ayogu Eze was born on 23 November, 1958. He was a Senator for Enugu North District. Additionally, he studied at Institute of Management and Technology Enugu, International Institute for Journalism Germany, University of Lagos, Harvard Kennedy School of Government, Said Business School of the Oxford University, Judge Business School of the University of Cambridge. Senator Ayogu Eze worked at “The Guardian Newspaper” between 1983 and 1989.

5. Chief Samuel Chimaroke Nnamani $45-50 Million

Chief Samuel Chimaroke Nnamani was born on 30 May 1960. Samuel Chimaroke Nnamani was the former Governor of Enugu State. He is a Medical Officer and Politician. He is Senator, representing Enugu East.

Samuel Nnamani was born in Port-Harcourt. He attended the Methodist Primary School Enugu, College of the Immaculate Conception (CIC). He is also a graduate of College of Medicine, University of Nigeria, State University of New York, Perinatal Biology Center Loma Linda University.
